I had never noticed how pretty Eucalyptus tree blossoms are until I spotted the light on this bunch. The image looks like it was captured with artificial lighting, but the scene was actually lit by sunlight bouncing off of a glass building about 200 yards behind me.
Murals are always fun to photograph. I like the graphic qualities of this one. Who's looking at who here? The eyeball in the mural makes me feel like there must be people in those windows peering out at me too.

I love how shadows can take on identities detached from the subject that they are cast from. Do you see tree branches or do you see something hanging in a tree? Would you immediately see a tree shadow if the tree trunk was cropped from the scene?
This image was captured as a jpeg, because it predates my knowledge of the raw image format. Back then I wouldn't call myself a photographer, even though I took a lot of photos of random things like this.
